About This Service
Servicing24 provides controller fault diagnosis and replacement support for Dell PowerVault ME4012, ME4024 and ME4084 storage systems. Assessment includes controller health, event logs, host-port connectivity, partner-controller status and firmware compatibility to identify the fault and plan corrective action.
Basic covers diagnosis and replacement recommendations. Standard adds replacement planning, compatible part-number validation and installation support for one customer-supplied controller. Premium adds approved firmware alignment, multipath review and controlled redundancy checks within the agreed scope.
Replacement is planned after checking the surviving controller, host paths and maintenance-window requirements. Uninterrupted service is not guaranteed; safe execution depends on the array configuration and current health. Replacement hardware, shipping, travel, data recovery and unrelated faults are quoted separately. Parts availability and any replacement-part warranty must be confirmed in writing.
Share the model, Service Tag, controller part number, firmware version, alerts, host connection type and affected hosts. Pricing, response time, completion time and onsite coverage are confirmed after assessment. Customer approval is required before configuration changes, controller shutdown or firmware work.
